The White Storks and the Purple Emperor Butterflies

Hand built earthenware vessel multi-layered with glaze, underglaze and slips. Images are drawn using Sgraffito (a scratching technique that reveals layers of underglaze beneath the surface glaze). The inspiration for this piece is taken from the Knepp Estate - an incredibly successful rewilding estate in Sussex.
